Please help me prove there is a problem with Appstore visibility of my apps

I recently bought a Kindle Fire HD 8.9, but already own an "Unknown MID" Android tablet with Amazon Appstore installed. I've developed 7 apps for the Amazon Appstore, all with exactly the same screen requirements, and all with exactly the same devices listed, but only 3 of these apps appear in the Appstore on the Kindle Fire HD 8.9. However, they all appear in the Amazon Appstore on the "Unknown MID" Android tablet. They have all been installed and successfully tested on my own Kindle Fire HD 8.9. The only answer I have received from Amazon is as follows:
Thank you for writing in. We consider a variety of factors as we evaluate each app for Kindle Fire Tablets, including the quality of experience the app offers and compatibility with the device. While our goal is to offer a broad and compelling assortment to Kindle Fire Tablet customers, not all apps available through Amazon Apps are currently available on Kindle Fire Tablets.
I've asked for a specific reason for the selective visibility, but have heard nothing more. I don't expect anyone here to be interested in the apps themselves, but would be grateful if anyone with a Kindle Fire (1st or 2nd generation), or Kindle Fire HD 7, could look for these web pages from their tablets, and tell me what they see there: -- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009Y8OV3G -- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005Z57L70 -- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009Y8Y3CK -- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005Z5CBTS -- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009Y8Y41K -- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ALTZEKQ -- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D1D2OBQ
Hi Hollandnumerics, Thank you for your post. Since this is app specific query, could you please raise a ContactUs ( https://developer.amazon.com/help/contactus.html) and one of our support engineer would assist you further.
I followed your advice and raised a ContactUs, but your support engineers were singularly unhelpful, merely sending me standard replies. I presume that, somewhere in the Amazon Appstore, there is information that controls whether an app is visible or invisible to a specific device. If that information is somehow related to how I've configured my apps, then knowing what that is will help me to update my apps to get them visible on Kindle Fire HD 8.9 tablets. What I don't understand is why all my apps have nearly identical code and configuration, and only differ in the data displayed, but only the first 3 submitted are visible on Kindle Fire HD 8.9 tablets. It would also be useful to know if the web pages for all the apps behave the same way on all 4 different Kindle Fire tablets, or it is just my HD 8.9 tablet that is showing any variation. If someone can just follow the links above, then that would be helpful for me to research the problem in the absence of Amazon engineer support? Thanks in advance..............Phil

I have viewed the websites on my kindle fire and I see the apps, I don't see any problem.

Alister, Can I assume that you were using an original Kindle Fire or 2nd generation, or do you have one of the HD models? The web sites should show your Kindle Fire in a list on the right-hand side, and the different versions may be important, as I have an HD 8.9! Thanks..........Phil

I have the older model and the HD and everything seems like it should be. It looks like all regular apps in the App Store (same appearance).

Alister, A friend has the HD 8.9 and is seeing the same as me, so do you have the HD 7 model? If so, then this is looking like a problem with the App Store and the HD 8.9. ...........Phil

I have all the kindle devices because I usually test out my apps on them and I have tried it out on all of them everything looks fine. But maybe you should contact amazon in the support section and explain what's wrong. That's all I can think of because it looks fine to me.

Alister, Unfortunately this discussion was started because I got a standard reply from Amazon Support, and then nothing! All my apps work perfectly on my Kindle Fire HD 8.9, which is why I was baffled by the web pages saying 4 of the 7 were not available for my tablet. The fact that all 7 apps are available for all your Kindle Fire tablets now suggests an issue with some user profiles or specific tablets, rather than generally. I just hope Amazon Support are monitoring this discussion. Thanks.............Phil

Also I would try resubmitting the app as a whole new app(not an update) keep everything the same. That might help with the problem you are experiencing. Hope I helped.
