How do you take an HD screenshot on a Kindle Fire HD 8.9?

Developer Select requires an HD screenshot of at least 1280x720 pixels. How do you take an HD screenshot on a Kindle Fire HD 8.9? ............Phil

The easiest way is to hold the volume down and power buttons at the same time - see https://developer.amazon.com/post/Tx1CTV3B42LJT95/Taking-span-class-matches-Screenshots-span-on-Kindle-Fire-HD.html You can also use DDMS in Eclipse Last, but not least, you can do it from the command line: adb shell /system/bin/screencap -p /sdcard/screenshot.png adb pull /sdcard/screenshot.png screenshot.png
