Deep linking

Hi, I'd like to make my app compatible with the Amazon Fire tablets. I see that all my deep links to different screens of the app are not working on the Fire. It's working fine on all other Android devices. I have this in my AndroidManifest.xml: But when I click on this kind of link on a website: http:// /dl/content/ It opens it on the browser, not in the app. But if I open it via ADB: adb shell am start -a android.intent.action.VIEW -d "http:// /dl/content/" it works fine. Thanks for the help.

Hi, Are you not seeing the intent fire at all, or is the intent getting fired but somehow not deep linking into your app? Deep linking should work fine on Fire devices as far as I know, especially if the current implementation is already working on other Android devices. Thanks, Nick

Thanks Nick, After further investigation, it seems that the issue comes from the Silk Browser app that comes with the device. Opening a deep link from an email or from Chrome works fine, but opening the same url from Silk Browser doesn't. Is that a known issue/limitation? If so, is there a plan to fix this? Thanks. Simon.
