Content provider URI for history in Silk browser

Hi, We provide an application for Android and Kindle devices. In the previous versions of the Silk browser, we have accessed the browser history via the content provider to check the URL accessed by user. However, in the newer versions of the Silk browser, this method fails. The Silk browser (based on Chromium) provides content://com.amazon.cloud9 and content://com.amazon.cloud9.systembrowser as the content provider authority. Like all other Chromium based browsers, we have attempted to access the browser history by accessing content://com.amazon.cloud9/history, but failed. We suspect that since the default Chromium source code only allows content provider URIs ending with .browser and .ChromeBrowserProvider, our query to content://com.amazon.cloud9/history failed. Would you please kindly assist us on how to access the browser history via the content provider on the newer, chromium based Silk browsers? If there is an alternate content provider URI, that would be helpful. Thanks,

Hi Jamie, Thanks for your reply. With old Silk browser (version: 1.0.616.95-Gen5-86001010), I can access its Content Provider. However, with new, Chromium-based Silk browser (version: 44.2.49.2403.133.10 & 47.1.79.2526.80.10), I cannot access Content Provider "content://com.amazon.cloud9/history ". Thanks,
