Internal SD memory in emulator always removed

Hello, I am trying to write to the internal SD memory of an emulated Kindle Fire, but I always get its state as removed. Is this an emulator issue or it is the actual way Kindle Fire works? Thanks,

Hi Adrian, Thank you for writing to us. You need to define the SD Card size in the setting of the particular AVD. 1. You can open AVD manager, select the target ADV and click on "Edit" button. This will open up the configurable window for all emulator properties. There you should find the SD Card size which is by default 0 and that will cause the state to be "removed" for external storage. 2. Create the Kindle AVD through Amazon AVD Launcher (Recommended): https://developer.amazon.com/public/resources/development-tools/ide-tools/tech-docs/02-installing-and-running-the-amazon-avd-launcher This will create the Kindle AVD with SD card and other recommended settings by default.
