Accelerometer in 1st gen?

Hi All, Which devices don't have an accelerometer? Just the 1st gen? All I've found is this document, but it doesn't detail hardware: https://developer.amazon.com/sdk/fire/specifications.html Thanks, -Chad

Hi Chad, In Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), hardware acceleration is not available. But in later versions of Android, this has been made available to increase performance of application graphics. To do so, your app must specify API level 11 as a minimum OS. Hope this information helps you. Thank you.

Hi Samuel, Thanks for the quick response, but I'm asking about the accelerometer - for tilt controls. Does the 1st gen Kindle have an accelerometer? Thanks
