Password Protect Access To The Settings Menu On Kindle Fire HDX 7"

Is there an app or a way to do this? Kids like to play games, and accidently get into the Kindle settings menu and wreak havoc. Fortunately they haven't done a factory reset. I'm pretty sure that would suck. Thanks for looking. Message was edited by: KH

it’s funny to note that all these years later….parental controls is as primitive today as it was back in 2014. I played with the free time app and Amazon kids and was so riddled with junk and bloat it was rendered useless. It also does not recognize google apps. So returning to the parental controls. The design is absolutely primitive where you can lock out the most basic settings like settings. A child can do a lot of damage in just the basic settings options. However the logical person would suggest that when parental controls are enabled, the pc code is required to unlock settings. It’s obvious to the end user that the people who code the kindles don’t use them….
