Android SDK Manager not loading/showing Fire Add-ons

I'm trying to get Kindle Fire development set up on my Mac running Mavericks. At one point I had it working but that was awhile back. I've since updated Eclipse and OS X. But now I cannot get any of the Fire add-ons to install (or even show as something I could install), I've tried blowing away the android SDK folder and starting from scratch, but the problem persists. I have Java SE 7 64 bit installed. Android examples build and run. Meanwhile everything works on Windows as expected. Is there some other cleanup I need to perform?

Also, all I see at the specified addon location here: http://kindle-sdk.s3.amazonaws.com/addon.xml is the Kindle Fire USB driver. Shouldn't there be additional elements for each Fire device?

Amazon has discontinued support for the HD and HDX tablet emulators. You should follow the guidance at https://developer.amazon.com/public/support/submitting-your-app/tech-docs/02-submitting-an-android-app and https://developer.amazon.com/public/support/submitting-your-app/tech-docs/03-pre-submission-assessment-guide in order to optimize their Android apps for Kindle tablets.
