Testing apk on FreeTime profile.

We are "porting" an existing store app to submit to FreeTime Unlimited so we'd like to be able to access our app in the FreeTime profiles we've created. I installed an apk in a kindle and added it to a child's profile, but when I go to the child profile it has to download the app and it ends up downloading the original app that's in the store. I know the documentation states that no additional work is required for it to work on FreeTime, but it's part of our QA team and our client's QA team to test the lifecycle of the app on FreeTime profiles along with regular profiles. Thanks

Your best bet for testing a new version on Freetime would probably be Live App Testing: https://developer.amazon.com/public/resources/development-tools/live-app-testing
