IAP Testing on Fire TV - cannot find IAP SDK Tester v1.0.4+

Hi, I am trying to do IAP testing on a Fire TV app - but cannot find an IAP SDK Tester .apk with a package version of 1.0.4 or above. Version 1.0.4 or above is required according to the Fire TV platform specification here: https://developer.amazon.com/public/solutions/devices/fire-tv/docs/device-and-platform-specifications I have tried the IAP SDK Tester with package version 1.0.0 included in the latest standard mobile SDK, but get stuck on the "Purchase" popups that describe the IAP, as the buttons do not respond to controller input. Could support please point me towards to where to download the correct version or the IAP Tester apk or suggest what could be going wrong? Thanks!

Hi Andre, Thanks for reporting the issue. Earlier this month, we updated the IAP SDK Tester to support the Amazon Fire TV remote. The reference to version 1.0.4 is an error in the documentation that we will address. The IAP SDK Tester has a known limitation where it does not work with the Amazon Fire Game Controller. This limitation is constrained to the test environment only, and does not appear in the live environment. Addressing this is something that is under consideration for a fix in a future release. Can you confirm if you were having issue with the Game Controller, and not the Fire TV remote? Thanks

I can't speak for OP but I will say that my issues go along with what you just described. I can use the remote, but not the controller to make a purchase.

Thanks, yes I was seeing this issue with gamepad controllers. Since we do not support the remote in our games we did not try to use it.

Not yet, since we have already posted above that there is currently a limitation where the SDK Tester only works with the Amazon Fire TV Remote and not with the Amazon Fire Game Controller. Both controllers can be used for purchases in the live environment. So please do not be blocked for this issue.
