Interactive portions of the screen are not highlighted when selected

i have submitted my application to amazon, it is targeting the amazon fireTV. It's a live TV and video on demand application i have been using the android media controller to manage the functionalities of the player. The application was rejected for the following reason : Interactive portions of the screen are not highlighted when selected : Rewind, Fast Forward, and Play buttons above progress bar can be navigated and selected but no highlighted cursor is visible. Is this the default behavior of the controller? did anyone had this problem or can anyone help to provide a solution fot that? Thank you

Hello mytvinc, As we discuss in our pre-submission assessment guide: https://developer.amazon.com/public/solutions/devices/fire-tv/docs/pre-submission-assessment-guide 2.9 UI Highlighting Test: Ensure that UI elements appear highlighted when selected. Expected Results: Apps should feature a UI that accommodates button (rather than touch screen) input by indicating to users what the current focus of the UI is. This may be achieved through the default rectangular box, a movable cursor, or some other indicator of what the user is selecting. Also, if you are unsure how to do this, please refer to the Android developers guide at http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/controls/button.html for details as to how to show your buttons being highlighted.

Did you ever figure this out? I have no problem doing it with controls I make, but the MediaController buttons I have not figured out how to do it.
