Does the Fire TV OS support MediaPlayer.setVolume

I am using this function in my application running on the latest OS on the Fire TV settop and it doesn't have any effect on the volume.

Hi there! Unfortunately, your app cannot control the volume by itself. This is controlled natively by the operating system (such as muting), or even by the television remote control. The API itself isn't exposed within apps. Thanks!
