I'm noticing that performance on app start is very sluggish, sub-5 fps yet when pressing home (to pause) the app, then selecting the app (to resume) the frame rate is the expected 60fps. This is a C/C++ app, using OpenGL, OpenAL. Anyone seen this? Have any recommendations?
Hi, Is the performance sluggish the entire time before the app is paused them resumed? It might make sense for the app to lag a bit when first starting, as it is unlikely any significant part of the application will be in RAM, whereas after resume the app is likely already cached and can start again right away.
