How to remotely control your FireTV without using adb shell input keyevent.

I want to build app for Android that would be a remote control.But stupid Android does not support bluetooth HID profile,and I have to build also app for Fire TV that will serve as server and it will receive commands from Android app. The question: How to send navigation commands to the Fire TV ? How to send "Up","Down","Home" etc? Thank you Vladimir
