Fire Stick Wont let me watch after 1 episode

I recently bought a fire stick TV for a christmas present and after a week when we try to watch more than one episode it says we have to pay for prime yet i am already a prime member and can watch the shows/movies on my pc and mobile device yet i cant on my stick. Is there anyway this can be fixed as i really want to enjoy my shows but getting frustrated at this problem.
