Newb question

Good day all, I am among the "tech-challenged " part of the population, would someone please tell me if I need an ISP for the stick, or does it act as it's own? Thank you, SLP

Hello Rich, While this is not the place one should normally ask consumer questions related to FireTV and FireTV Stick. Being, that this forum is targeted towards individuals who write software for those particular devices. I can tell you that you will need to have internet access through an ISP in order for FireTV Stick to be able to work, as you would not be able to register your device without being able to connect to the internet. In the future, I would suggest directing inquiries to Amazon Customer Service, as we may not have the right answers.
