Speech Recognition API/SDK?

Is there any way to do voice/speech recognition on Amazon Fire TV?

There is no public facing API specifically for speech recognition in Fire TV at this moment. Please stay tuned on Mobile App Distribution Portal or Blogs ( https://developer.amazon.com/blog/index.html ) for any updates related to this. If you would like your app to be appeared in the voice search result on Fire TV you can adopt our Search integration that enables your catalog metadata to be integrated with other catalog data in the Fire TV service. https://developer.amazon.com/public/solutions/devices/fire-tv/docs/catalog/search-integration

Hi, Any update on this thread? I am using google's leanback library which has mic icon in SearchFragment. But it is not working in fire tv. I see warning from log "no voice recognition service available". Any code snippet that explains how to integrate speech recognizer in fire tv will be helpful.
