Passing additional parameters with speechrecognizer request?

I suspect that this may actually be a feature request rather than a question, but is there any way to pass along additional attributes with a speechrecognizer request that can be passed directly through to an Alexa Skill? An example use case would be a Skill that provides transit information in response to questions like "When's the next train to Sacramento?", sent from an app running on a smart watch. If the user has given the app access to her location information, it would be useful if a "location" attribute could be passed to the Skill as part of the speechrecognizer request, rather than having to come up with some out-of-band mechanism for doing so (e.g., telling the Skill "In about 20 ms, you're going to receive a request from user xyz@amazon.com, asking for train departure information - here's where they are" or having the Skill retrieve the user's last known device location from a location-tracking database - which breaks down quickly if the user has the app running on multiple devices, since device ID isn't part of the Skills request). Until this is available, there's really no easy way for a Skill to take advantage of contextual awareness, limiting the usefulness of the overall integration.
