Customizing Alexa Voice Service using AlexaSkillsKitJava.zip

Sorry if this question is redundant or obvious... I've created a few new skills for the Amazon Echo using the sample code (AlexaSkillsKitJava.zip) in this link ( https://developer.amazon.com/public/solutions/alexa/alexa-skills-kit/docs/using-the-alexa-skills-kit-samples). By following the Alexa Voice Service Reference Implementation Guide ( https://developer.amazon.com/public/solutions/alexa/alexa-voice-service/docs/reference-implementation-guide) I also got Alexa to work on my laptop using the laptop microphone and loudspeaker. Is there an easy way to add the skills illustrated in AlexaSkillsKitJava.zip to my laptop Alexa implementation instead to the Amazon Echo device? Because I am using the same AWS account to create the "my_device" in Alexa Voice Service -- can I simply share the new skills I created for both my Amazon Echo and my laptop Alexa? Thanks, Kwan

Skills are associated with users, not devices, so you should be able to go to https://alexa.amazon.com and enable the skill for yourself on the left under the skills subsection (as long as you're signed in with the developer account that contains that skill). There isn't really a difference between Echo or AVS devices in regard to using skills. If you have any difficulty using or creating the skill, we have a dedicated forum section specifically for everything related to ASK: https://forums.developer.amazon.com/forums/category.jspa?categoryID=48
