There are quite a few languages like Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and French that are probably gonna take precedence over Catalan, considering only like 4 million even speak it.

Sorry you are totally wrong, Catalan has about 11 million speakers, and other languages from independent countries with fewer speakers are considered for Alexa and Google Home.
In tot of that , if your language has more or less speakers I don't care about anything else, I'm interested in my language and culture, don't you?
