Great Idea! All it takes is one negative review to drown sales of an otherwise great design.

This is a great idea and much more fair to the designer. I'm new here, and haven't had any reviews at all yet (at least not that I've seen), but I've had this kind of thing happen to me elsewhere. Or allow for two ratings: something like - How Do You Rate the T-Shirt Quality and Sizing? and How do you rate the Design?

Can't agree enough! I just noticed that one of my kid's shirts has a very bad review because the SIZE was way off. It was for a child size 4, and the customer received what they described as a very large man's size. They said the design/printing quality was good, but the size horrible. That one review stands out like a sore thumb. (And it's my ONLY review for that shirt.) I don't know what to do. Take the shirt down? It used to be a not so bad seller.

Are we allowed to make a comment to the purchaser, thank them for their review, and **hope** that will help our sales again? I LOVE AMAZON, and I know printing mistakes will happen. Just hurts to see that 1-star review.... Gulp!

Or add two different review options: one for the shirt/amazon part of the deal, and one for the design itself.

Just looking at reviews I've gotten in past year. Every 1-2-3 star I get I've gotten is due to misprinting (printed front, forgot to print back...), bad chemical smells (have had multiple comments), badly wrinkled, and sizing issues (big issue)... never once anything to do with design and it absolutely kills the sales when getting a 1 star rating on a first review on a "good selling design", to the point it is almost worth deleting the shirt and starting over - a shame. Wish there were something Amazon could do to help... they should recognize that it is the DESIGN that SELLS, not the shirt.
