This morning here in Ontario Canada, we had an alert sent out by the Province about a possible Nuclear Power plant meltdown! Seriously! All the phones and TV's went into alert mode!
My entire house is outfitted with Dot's, Shows, Echos, and none of them made a peep about the impending danger. That seems a bit scary.
I mean we don't need to be alerted for Amber Alerts through Alexa, but when a Nuclear Meltdown might happen... I think that's kind of serious.
I think that should be looked at. All my Amazon screens (Shows, Fire TV's) should have been Red with danger, and all the rings on my Echo units should have been red with danger. The Fire TV's should have turned on automatically (CEC) and displayed a Warning. Like my phone did.
There is no reason why I would have slept through the warning if my phone was in another room. Alexa should have made sure I was aware of this.
Why is this not a thing?
