I had the discussion with some of my friends which also use their alexa at their home and what could be improved and so we came up with this idea that it would be more natural to just say "Alexa thank you" to stop a timer or a reminder.
For instance the Thank you or ( Thanks ? ) would propably not used for much else and in the context of a timer or a reminder it would be the appropriate thing to answer a human wouldn't it ? So it would overall be more natural than just saying Alexa stopp.
So maybe you can implement that as an alternative to stop in the context of a timer or a reminder ending. Usually this kinda breaks the immersion of talking to a person when you kinda have to yell stop at her to do the right thing.
