Not seen any movement on this. The developers should be forced to listen to Crazy Frog's version of Axel F 50 times in a row (my kids current favourite) and then they'll soon implement this feature. I think a relatively simple way would be with the companion app. For example you could select previously played songs or artists and block from there, rather than asking Alexa to block something (my kids would just ask it to unblock).

It is incomprehensible that a company with the size and technological advancement of Amazon does not have the simple feature to block a song or artist in their Amazon music or on the Alexa app. Quite frankly, I am sick to death of hearing “baby shark,“ by Pinkfong. While it is not an explicit song, it will burrow itself into your soul even while you’re sleeping. Come see on, Amazon. Fix the issues before continuing to release new stuff. Take care of the people who have already given you money as well as the people whose money you are trying to get.

The phrase ‘Cliff burrows into your soul even while you’re sleeping’ is so true!!!

So come on Amazon Fix the issue.

In my case, it’s George Winston. I out my kids to bed listening to Bach. I have done it si ce he was born. Out of nowhere, it plays some crappy song by George Winston instead of Bach every few months. Not it is trying to get me to listen to his new albumn. I never want to hear anything by George Winston again! It keeps messing up my kid going to sleep!
