There are two ways to point to your app for marketing purposes -- via deeplinking or a direct URL link. We strongly recommend that you use deeplinking to direct your end customers to download your app from the appropriate retail site. Deeplinking also allows you to set-up your marketing materials before your app submission goes "Live" on the Amazon Appstore.
To point to your app for marketing purposes, use the following URL on a browser: http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/dl/android?p=INSERTPACKAGENAME
To point to your app for marketing purposes, use the following URL on a mobile device: amzn://android?p=INSERTPACKAGENAME
If you want to link to the list of all your apps on Amazon Apps, use the URL: http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/dl/android?p=INSERTPACKAGENAME&showAll=1
The links will become active once the app you’re linking to is live in Amazon Apps. Within the application approval e-mail, you will receive the unique URL for your app.
To search Amazon Apps: http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/dl/android?s=INSERTSEARCHTEXT
The Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN) is a unique code assigned to your app submission once it goes "LIVE" on the Amazon Appstore. You can find the ASIN of your app in the URL of its product page on Amazon.com, usually in the format:
Please keep in mind that this is a direct link to a specific Amazon.com website. We do not recommend this method as it may direct your end users to the incorrect retail site to download/purchase your app from the Amazon Appstore (for example, a German customer should download your app from the Amazon.de site rather than the Amazon.com site)
