Summary:
You may have experienced issues when attempting to control the play, pause, fast-forward, and rewind video playback functions in apps on Fire TV. This issue has been resolved in the current version of Fire OS, released on August 24th, 2015. Simply download the latest update for the device and the issue will no longer be present. This can be done by going to the Settings menu on the Fire TV and selecting System -> About -> Check for System Update. The device will automatically download and install the latest version of the operating system.
