Amazon アプリストア（以下「本ストア」といいます。）にて、日本のマーケットプレイス向けに有料アプリやアプリ内課金アイテム（以下「本コンテンツ」といいます。）を提供している開発者様に日本の消費税率変更についてお知らせいたします。2019 年 10 月 1 日より、日本在住のお客様に販売されるすべての本コンテンツに対する消費税率が 8%から10％へ変更されます。開発者様に特に対処していただくことはありませんが、現在開発者様が本ストアで販売されている本コンテンツにはこの変更の影響を受ける可能性があるものが含まれていますので、お知らせいたします。
10 月 1 日より、Amazon.co.jp 向けの標準価格（税込）の設定のうち、 10%部分が消費税とみなされることになります。この価格から消費税が差し引かれるため、開発者様へ支払われるロイヤリティは、税抜き後の金額に基づいて計算されることになります。なお、開発者様は、Amazon Developer Services Agreementの条項に従い標準価格を変更することが可能です。
また、今回消費税率の変更に伴い、本コンテンツのうち、定額サービスに関する標準価格を変更される場合についてもご案内申し上げます。2019年10月1日以降にお客様が利用されている開発者様の定額サービスが更新された場合、9月30日時点の標準価格をもとにロイヤルティが算定されることになります。10月1日以降に定額サービスに関する標準価格の変更をご希望の場合は、9月30日までに変更いただきますようお願いいたします。

Dear Developers,
We are writing to inform developers who are distributing paid apps or monetizing through IAP items (“Content”) in Japan of a Japanese consumption tax increase. Starting October 1, 2019, the Japanese consumption tax rate will increase from 8% to 10% for Content sold to customers living in Japan. No action is required of you, but we are notifying you because you currently have one or more apps available through Amazon Appstore that may be affected by this change.
Starting October 1, 10% consumption tax will be included as a portion of the list price (tax inclusive) at the point of sale. Developer royalties will be calculated based on the tax-exclusive price, meaning the list price deducted by the 10% consumption tax. Keep in mind that you can change your price subject to the terms and conditions of the Amazon Developer Services Agreement.
As for subscription services you provide as Content, if an existing customer renews their subscription on or after October 1, 2019, we will use the list price as of September 30, 2019 as the base for calculating your royalties for those renewed subscriptions. If you wish to update your list price effective from October 1, 2019, please make sure to do so by September 30, 2019.

Amazon应用商店（以下简称“本商店”）在此通知您，针对面向日本市场的收费应用及应用内收费项目（以下简称“本件内容”）的日本消费税税率将进行调整。自2019年10月1日起，面向日本居民销售的本件内容的消费税税率将从8%上涨至10%。此项调整无需您采取专门措施，但可能会影响到您在本商店销售的本件内容，故予通知。
10月1日起，Amazon.co.jp上架标准价格（含税）的10%将算作消费税。从上述价格中扣除消费税后，我们将根据税后金额计算支付给您的分成。您可以根据Amazon Developer Services Agreement的规定调整标准价格。
此外，伴随本次消费税税率调整，若您将对本件内容中定额服务的标准价格进行调整，则请注意以下事项。若您向消费者提供的定额服务在2019年10月1日后更新，我们将根据9月30日的标准价格计算分成。若您希望在10月1日后使用更新后的定额服务标准价格，请在9月30日前进行调整。
