SSML vs. plaintext

Are there plans to introduce SSML as a valid format for OutputSpeech? Sort of related: Is there a limit to the length "text" can be?

+1 to this. Alexa has some odd inflections at time which it'd be nice to fix.

Tim, ahomes0 The Echo SDK currently do not support SSML output for applications. As you mentioned above, this is a feature you would like to see in future releases, we take feedback very seriously and use it to drive our future efforts. Thank you very much for you feedback.
