Building a Smart Home skill with Alexa Skill Kit (Custom Skill)?

Is it possible to use Alexa Skill Kit to build a skill, and release this skill in Smart Home category?

Yep, you just need to choose 'Smart Home' for the Category on the 'Publishing Information' Tab.
