Home Skill responding to multiple, old names of an appliance

Hi, ever since the last changing of Alexa mobile app, there appears to be bug with appliances' names. We have a Smart Home Skill live and running, but we want to recertify it to add some new features.

Here are the steps: 1. Have an appliance called "bedroom lamp" 2. Say "discover devices" 3. You have a device on the list called "bedroom lamp" (Great!) 4. Change the name on the device itself, not using the Alexa mobile App to "banana" 5. Say "discover devices" 6. Say "turn on bedroom lamp" - it still works; say "turn on banana" - it also works 7. Change the appliance name through the Alexa Mobile App to "Zdzisia" 8. All three appliance names work; each time we get the same id on our webhook

For a user it would be obvious they want to use just the newest name. This will cause real problems if (like in the case above) a user would add a new device called "bedroom lamp".

There is a serious defect in the Amazon Alexa App. I have removed all skills and the old devices will not delete. Nobody at Amazon has been able to help. This app is devolving day by day.
