Quick Events Date Issues

Hi I am having trouble with the Quick Events skill. For some reason Quick Events thinks it is always 5 days ahead of the current date? If I add an event to today or tomorrow it schedules the event for 5-6 days away. If I specify todays actual date e.g. 'Wednesday 6th January' it doesn't understand and asks me for a 'title' for the event. The calendar/dates work great with everything else on my echo. If I ask for today's weather, it give me weather for the correct date. If I ask about items on my calendar it also gives me items for todays date. It is just the Quick Events skill that isn't working... Love the idea of the skill and hope I can get a fix! Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help :) Ellen

Note: this forum is for the Alexa Skills Kit. For requests about the Echo (e.g. non-US Zip Codes) or a particularly 3rd party skill, you should contact Amazon or the developer of the 3rd party skill. (The developer hangs out here and lot and will probably see this. However for direct help you should contact the e-mail address given on the Terms of Use page of the skill: sarkonovich@gmail.com)
