Anyway to monitor Android app update installs / active installs?

We pushed a 1.1 update to our app, intended to fix a crash that was being reported in 1.0. It seems to successfully be live, the crashes have gone down, and according to the "Reporting -> Crashes" page of the developer console the 1.1 version is not experiencing the crash.

Is there any way to see what percent of current users have the 1.1 version of the app installed/updated? On Google Play you can see active device installs as well as what percent of users are on which version of the app.

Hello,

Thank you for posting your comments in the forum.

Unfortunately, we currently do not have such feature which allow developers to find out how many end users are on specific version of the apps.

Regards,

Do you have a Fire OS system message that tells user to uninstall existing app and reinstall, instead of overwrite with the update?

Our Android apps don't force this, but users report their Fire tablet telling them this. We have a recent update that's pretty important to get out.

Hello,

Unfortunately, Fire OS system will always override the existing app and doesn't message end user to uninstall/reinstall the app.

Best,
