Inline image on the Echo Show does not show up

The inline image shows up on the service simulator perfectly, but seems to become transparent the actual device. It's odd—the text shifts up as if an image were there, but the image doesn't actual show. Anyone know why this happens?

Make sure you're setting the width, height and alt-attribute as described in the developer docs.

This is an inline <img src='https://www.example.com/test1.jpg' width='500' height='500' alt='test image' /> image.

Hi @NickG@Amazon,

I am trying to display the following image: http://images.all-free-download.com/images/graphiclarge/speaker_icon_clip_art_9208.jpg

It perfectly shows up on the simulator, but not on the actual device.

Below the code that I use (sorry it is Node):

exports.handler = (event, context, callback) => {
  const res = {
      version: '0.1',
      sessionAttributes: {
        lastResponse: 'buildIntroResponse'
      },
      response: {
        outputSpeech: {
          type: 'PlainText',
          text: '',
          ssml: '<speak></speak>'
        },
        card: {
          type: 'Standard',
          title: 'Card Title',
          text: 'Card Text'
        },
        directives: [
          {
type: 'Display.RenderTemplate',
template: {
  type: 'BodyTemplate3',
  token: 'BodyTemplate3Token',
  backButton: 'HIDDEN',
  title: '',
  image: {
    sources: [
      { url: 'http://images.all-free-download.com/images/graphiclarge/speaker_icon_clip_art_9208.jpg' }
    ]
  },
  textContent: {
    primaryText: {
      text: `
      <img src="http://images.all-free-download.com/images/graphiclarge/speaker_icon_clip_art_9208.jpg" width="50" height="100" alt="APPLE" />
      `,
      type: 'RichText'
    }
  }
            }
          }
        ],
        shouldEndSession: true
      }
    };
  return callback(null, res);
}
