I've spent the weekend hacking on my first app - BART Times - which gives users journey departure and arrival times, service advisories and elevator status for the Bay Area Rapid Transit in California, US. Ok, so it's definitely location-specific, but I've built a framework that should enable me to add new subways and transit systems easily in the future.
