Node.js : alexa-app-server module is a container/simulator for Alexa Skills
https://www.npmjs.com/package/alexa-app-server The actual Alexa Skills that run in the container are stand-alone modules written using the alex-app module. This module simplifies handling the JSON in and JSON of Alexa, helps you auto-generate many utterances, and is built to make your skills testable even from outside of the Alexa environment.
https://www.npmjs.com/package/alexa-app I have an example public server running, where you can play with the simulator/debugger and see how it works:
Hello Matt, Started playing with the -app and -app-server last night (fantastic work!). I have successfully installed them on a raspberry pi for hopefully future home automation control. On the local network I was able to POST to your server with your utility and with simple REST clients locally. My question is on the next stage - building an Alexa Skill on amazon and linking it to one of your examples. I presume I have to reconfigure your setup to allow https but I don't really know how to get there. I have ssl cert/keys, domain registrar/DNS pointing to my RPi, so I think I have most of what I need to get your server to https. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Kris
