Certification Is Not Possible Yet, Correct?

I am probably restating the obvious but since there isn't yet an Echo appstore, even if you app satisfied all the requirements it still can't be certificated yet, right? Anyone else gotten further with their apps in certification/publishing food chain?

Will apps that are approved/certified prior to the launch of an Echo App Store go live when the Echo App Store is launched?
