Your app submission is estimated to go live before 02:00 AM PDT, 10 May 2017 Is it possible to know the date and time?

We need to know the exact time and date for our app because we need to do some post-launch work. Is it possible?

And we'd like to avoid publishing before 10 May 2017.

Thank you/

Hi there,

Thanks for posting! There are 2 related things concerning the date and time when the app is published. By default, when you submit your app, you will see a banner at the top of your app's entry in Dev Portal, which will tell you something along the lines of "Your app will go live before DD-MMM-YYYY at HH:MM". Allow for a 12-hour window around that time to be safe, and check that your app is live by searching for it in the Appstore. This date and time is something you can't directly control, as it often depends on the number of submissions the Appstore has received around those dates.

The other option is to set your own date and time when you'd like your app to be published. This is done in the Date and Time drop down box during submission: select the exact date and time / time zone, and the system will publish your app on that date and time. Regardless, allow about 12 hours after that time for the app to go live. After that you can commence your post launch work. Thanks!
