"Not Compatible with your device" when a tester tries to use the app for fire TV

I have uploaded my app for fire TV and enabled all four available devices for this app, app uploaded successfully, testers are successfully assigned to this app. But when tester gets the email and clicks the link it shows "Not Compatible with your device" it does not tell what exactly is the issue. If it do had an issue then why it is allowing me to upload app in first place. Note : App is working perfectly fine when running directly from ADB (Android Debug bridge)

Hi there,

Thanks for posting! Could you please ask your tester to uninstall any prior versions of the app from their device, optionally restart it, and try again? Otherwise, please login to your Dev Portal account and raise a "Contact Us" case with us, indicating the app name / ID / package name, and the exact device model / year / OS version of your tester's device, so we could investigate. Thanks!

uninstalled the app that i installed through adb also restarted the device no luck.

I also raised contact us case as you requested, how will i get notified your response over it ?

Also can you please tell me how can i see the model of fire TV, cant find any option in settings

You can check in Settings / System / About for OS version, and the Serial Number (from which we'll deduct model and year), and you can send that info to us via Contact Us (login to your Dev Portal account if you don't want to post it here). Thanks!

Thanks, i already created contact-us case four days ago, also got their confirmation message but no one from support team contacted back yet.Meanwhile i also submitted my app for review to check if it has any error, It is now live on store but i cant search it on store (need help on this too)

Hi there,

Thanks for the update. After your app goes live, it can take several hours before it refreshes in server caches and becomes searchable. Are you still experiencing any problems with that? Thanks!
