Alexa : problem communicating with the requested application

Hi, I have created and enabled a test Alexa application using a Lambda function and the basic demo color intent code from the getting started guide. However when trying to access the application, i am getting the following error [b]Request Identifier: amzn1.echo-api.request.xxxxxxxxxxx There was a problem communicating with the requested application[/b] Please help Thanks

Hi Ravi If you are using AWS Lambda then you may need to add "Alexa Skills Kit" as an Event Source to your AWS Lambda Functions. Goto your AWS Function List Click on / In the next screen for "Event source type" select "Alexa Skills Kit" Click Submit Hope this helps Message was edited by: Abe
