Developer Console Timeout Bug

The Developer Console Echo SDK - Application Management page can and will time out on you at some point - the tricky bit is it will still accept changes to the form (Intent Schema and Sample Utterances) and report that they were successfully updated. If this happens to you and you are trying to call a new Intent, the echo will just play the error tone. If you reload the form page you will be directed to login to your Amazon account, and once returned to the form you will see your changes that were reported to be saved were not actually updated at all.

Any update on this because it's somewhat irritating especially when switching back and forth between coding and the reference pages. It seems to happen more frequently with the API docs for me. Thanks! Dan Message was edited by: dwihi

I'm not editing my schema much, so I don't hit that. But the docs timeout is incredibly frustrating. I don't know what the timeout is, but it seems way too short. Especially for documentation, which I will reference once, then code for 45 minutes, then come back to and try to click a link. Doubling the frustration is that after I login I'm not taken back to the page I was trying to get to. If anything could be done about these timeouts, that would be great. :)

Hello, just checking if there is an update on this issue? Testing in the Alexa console is difficult with such a short timeout.
