Slotstatus and device status

Hi Amazon DRS Team

What is use of Device Status,Slot Status and SubscriptionInfo API end points in DRS. Could you explain us in which scenario these will be very useful.

Hi Sainath,

These APIs are used to have the device report home periodically, so we can know whether the customer's device is still active with respect to DRS registration. Thanks!

What happens if a device does not call deviceStatus for, let's say, a week and then after that week the device calls the replenish API? Will the replenish API fail? Or will the order not be placed when calling replenish?

Thanks for posting! Replenishment API works whether or not you are using the device status, or slot status APIs. These APIs are for data purposes only, and do not cause any restriction on the behavior of other APIs. Thanks!
