Is my DRM-free-ePub reader app going to be rejected?

Hello, I am a developer and I am thinking about submitting an Android app to the Amazon Underground ecosystem. I am concerned because my app is an ePub reader for DRM-free ePubs so I fear it will be rejected. The reason of the rejection could be the fact the app can be considered as a Kindle competitor, even it is no directly so. I do not know how the approval process works and how much control is enforced to avoid the publication of possible Amazon apps competitors, like Apple does. I would like to have your advice about this important question. Thanks

Thank you for asking. Unfortunately we are unable to proactively approve applications prior to submission to our store. The approval process will involve looking closely at the app in question and the features offered. Please submit your app via the Developer Portal here and we will notify you once the app has completed testing or if there are any further issues.
