Is there any solution I can ask Echo the result read from my humidity sensor?

I'm new to Echo development.

Our company has a humidity sensor with WiFi support.

We want to integrate with Echo.

I already read some document about Alexa smart home, seems there's only API to send command for control of device, but I could not find any way to read data from home device.

Is there any solution?

This is something that's not currently possible in the smart home api, but is possible to do via a custom skill. Some providers even offer both a smart home skill for the basic supported functionality and a custom skill for extended functionality that's not supported via the smart home api.
