How to avoid server IP or domain of our online app getting blocked

Hello!

We are thinking of creating an online app that creates Amazon affiliate stores using the Amazon Product Advertising API. Let's say something similar to:

http://www.specialprojectsinc.co/demos/affiliate_site_2/

Feel free to click on any of the listed products to see how a product page could look.

Each user of the online app would use their own Access Key ID and Secret Access Key to generate product pages.

The app would do no "scraping".

Our main concern is that Amazon might blacklist our server's IP or domain, or give a "blocked by captcha" error, if too many requests come from our server at the same time.

Is this a valid concern, and if yes, is there anything that can be done to avoid this?

We want to make everything possible to make sure the app is within Amazon's TOS.

Thanks!

George

Hi,

You will probably have better luck contacting the Product Advertising API team directly: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/advertising/api/detail/contactus.html.
