Way to retrieve sales info

I mainly use the sales reports to look at monthly sales-to-date. The redesign of the portal looks nice, but it sure requires a lot of clicks to get most information. It would be great if there was an easier way to get monthly sales with fewer clicks. If it would just remember my settings from session to session, even that would be better, so I didn't have to re-enter the dates every time.
