Building for Japanese Fire HD

I see the Fire HD will be released Dec 19 in Japan. I would like to develop a version of my app for the Japanese market, but I have no idea where to start. My Fire HD has English, French, Italian, Spanish and German, but not Japanese. It's a simple matter to switch languages to test the app in those, but how would I even test a Japanese version? Will Japanese be added as a Language to the American version of the Kindle Fire HD, or will it be a different version for the Japanese market? If it's a different version, how can I get my hands on the Japanese version for development?

It is being sold RIGHT NOW on the Japanese Amazon site. http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B008UAAE44/ Even if it's not shipping yet, people can buy it right now, TODAY. That makes it a CURRENT PRODUCT. This policy completely baffles me. Why would you sell a product before giving developers a chance to develop apps for it? Wouldn't you want the customers to get the best experience possible? That's not possible with this policy! How are developers supposed to develop apps for a product when you won't even acknowledge its existence?

Thanks for the response, but that does not answer my question. Specifically, I need to know what words are going to be used in the system menus and dialogs on the Japanese version. I refer to all of these in my app: More... Applications Installed Applications Camera Force Close Clear Data Shut Down Remove From Device Delete Photos Personal Videos

I just got the update with the Japanese language support Problem solved!
