Amazon Coins ! Why not Bitcoins ??

Hello, I've been reading here today: http://www.amazonappstoredev.com/2013/02/introducing-amazon-coins.html I'm also interested to see important services such Amazon.com use Bitcoin. I'm a long time Amazon customer and it would be good to see Amazon using Non-centralized currencies..... So that's why I ask why not use Bitcoin ?? People in the US, have no problems purchasing from Amazon since it's a US based business. But international customers whould like to see international (or border-less payments so to speak) when purchasing. Wordpress made a big move when it supported Bitcoin. So other big names can! At least if it's not possible why not offer Amazon.com Bitcoin cards ??? Regards,,,,
