Why should the count of view event larger then convert event?

Hi, Is Amazon A/B test service requires the count of convert event is less then the count of view event? How do design the test in some case that the count of view event is less then the convert event? For example, client may go to some page once and make many clicks, that will be one view VS many convert.

Hi Liang, Could you please clarify a little about your use case? If user visit a page (counts view) and clicks on the same button repeatedly (that increases conversion), at that case you are going to conversion rate should more than 100%. Are you asking whether it's possible or not?

Hi, I had this problem answered with email. The conversion rate should be no more then 100%, this is decided by the way to compute conversion rate in Amazon A/B test.

We only support the case where the conversion event occurs less than the view event. Ideally the conversion event either occurs or does not for every view event. Here are some strategies apps use in similar situations: 1. If you are interested in whether or not the conversion event occurs, you could make an event for the first time the conversion event occurs and not every time. 2. If you are interested in how many times the conversion event occurs, you could make an event for the Nth time the conversion event occurs. For example, the 10th time.

I don't think it is a good idea that your event stragedy affect the A/B test design. Event if it is difficult to avoid, Your client api should better transparent this request to developers, or specify this on some document.
