Prompt Alexa to make a Speech Output

I am developing a smart home skill that helps blind people identify objects. I want to add a custom model to my skill so that when the user scans an object, Alexa makes a speech output with the description of the object. Is this possible through proactive events API? I have checked the schemas and there is no custom schema afaik. How can I implement this, if this is possible to implement in ASK?
