Creating BLE device to connect to Alexa

Hi all !

we would like to make one of our device (air quality monitoring device) connectable to Alexa devices.

our device is capable of BLE only connections

I already read lots of things about FFS/BSS

I generated a device on my amazon console

Also generated a 2D barcode according your specifications for this device

But i'm stuck at the device side to setup the BLE advertising datas to be recognized by Alexa.

i know i need to set it up with the service data - 16 bit UUID (0xfe00 for Amazon services) but i found nothing about the service data content.. (i only read somewhere the PID need to be in it... )

is someone can help me ?

Hello,

I'd suggest to reference the following document: https://developer.amazon.com/docs/frustration-free-setup/bluetooth-mesh-overview.html

It has information about OOB requirements and a reference to BLE mesh specification.

Hope it helps
